Americas largest companies have fully embraced Earth Day as a way to sell more products. Totally counter intuitive of the point of the day. This article from Ad Age has many good points, including the proactive blogosphere who is fact checking the companies and holding them accountable for the sustainable / green principals and products they market.
Treehugger points to other large companies to profit from this marketing trend.

“Gonna make it happen.” This song is awesome. It’s from some old 1970’s Cavaliers campaign. Nice bass line, very funky with some pretty sweet horn lines. They really should consider busting this out again these days. Interesting history about the logo and uniforms.

Nicholas Feltron designs a personal annual report with very cool looking graphs and illustrations. The dimensionality and organization of the info make it very easy to read. No wonder that he’s done this type of work for The New York Times.
