As an art director & graphic designer, I appreciate and promote good design everywhere. Whether it’s architecture and city planning or policy and technology, good design makes the world a better place.
I’m a big fan of gardening, cooking, eating, exercising, photography, motorcycling and playing music (guitar, horns and formerly drums in The Celebrity Pilots).
Since helping to create this event in 2008, my wife and I have been on the board of Larchmere Porchfest which is a fun neighborhood music festival. 30 bands on 30 porches and it’s totally free. As the chair of the music and marketing committees, I’m responsible for curating and booking bands, as well as all the creative / marketing materials for this official non-profit organization.
My wife and I love to travel. In addition to several great North American cities, we really enjoyed Barcelona, Cinque Terre, Rome, Brugge, Ghent, Amsterdam, Stockholm and Copenhagen. Our daughter is still young, but already joining us on simple trips.
